The race in the Wildschönau cannot take place this year due to several large construction sites in the event area. "Unfortunately we got an unexpected problem concerning the E1 2019", says Thomas Lerch, tourism manager there. "I was informed by the community that the entire school grounds in Oberau are not available for the event due to the renovation of the school in 2019. We have searched intensively for alternatives on site, but found nothing satisfactory that meets the requirements of the Enduro One series", Lerch continued. In order to maintain the accustomed level of the E1, promoter Baboons has brought a new high carat on board for 2019 with Kirchberg in Tyrol. "Kirchberg near Kitzbühel has a huge trail net and also breathtaking dream scenery," says series manager Christian Hens. "With Kurt Exenberger from the BIKEACADEMY we have found a top partner as event manager", Hens continues. Exenberger, who already has a victory in the E1 guest class, is looking forward to the biker pack. With Rainer Schoner even the race director from the Wildschönau shall be "engaged".
